Rita Figueiredo was born in Porto in Portugal. She studied Acting (B.A) at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (Portugal). Between 2013 and 2017 she worked with the director João Mota at the National Theatre D.Maria II and with the theatre directors Durval Lucena and Lourenço Henriques. On the TV, Rita Figueiredo participated in some portuguese soap operas and Tv series. In September 2017, she decided to move to New York living there since then. She recently completed a role in the short film "Undaunted" by Matt Strelecki.
